About “Arms, Distance”

Arms, Distance is the wholly non-professional blog of  Brian Howe Battle — who is now talking in third-person.

Brian works in advertising in Chicago. He also sells vintage green-conscious t-shirts online with friends at TeeCycle.Org. (He’ll bring that up a lot if you ever talk to him). He also writes about music on BemBang.Us, football (satirically) on The Divisionaries, Chicago culture on UR Chicago and has a love/hate relationship with neckercheifs.

Arms, Distance is supposed to be the opposite of all these projects — a personal blog whose ultimate goal is to simply exist. (Success!) Bits and pieces from other projects will often appear here (sometimes with added content), but this blog will also have thoughts, commentary, criticism, and other tangents that don’t exist online elsewhere. (Also, spellcheck will not be used as often).
