But, taking a gander at the Goth/Punk kids at the close of “Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa” – do they look any less ridiculous than the Cape Cod vacation set? Vampire Weekend kindly reminds us that, as this generation mines John Hughes movies for style pointers, for every marginalized Ally Sheedy there was a prissy Molly Ringwald — and people tended to identify with her just as much.
